Kemtron provide a Form-in-Place seal solution

Kemtron have provided our customer with a Form-in-Place gasket solution which replaces an environmental O ring seal on the housing of a portable electronics unit.

The housings will arrive at the customer with the Form-in-Place gasket already attached, therefore reducing assembly time. With the previous O ring solution, if a seal was missed during assembly it would not be identified until the end of the assembly and test process, fitting of the O ring would then require costly re-work and re-test activities. With the Form-in-Place solution, the risk of assembly without a seal is eliminated.
