Surtec 650 from Kemtron

Kemtron has introduced a new aluminium passivation (Surtec 650) line to its production facilities.

Surtec 650 is fast becoming the industry standard aluminium passivation finish where corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity is essential. Surtec 650 is a Trivalent Chromium process that fully RoHS compliant. Conforming to the requirements of MIL-DTL-5541F class II type 3 and MIL-DTL-81706B. Whether it’s the RFI/EMI shielding ventilation panels, fixings, or the components within. Surtec 650 will become the preferred finish for Kemtrons’ renowned aluminium RFI/EMI shielding ventilation panels.

This will allow Kemtron to take more control over its manufacturing process, reducing lead times therefore mutually benefiting the supply and demand of these products.

Recognising the demand, this addition lets Kemtron sustain its commitment to leading the complete manufacture and supply of EMC shielding components around the world.
